Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 October 2026

The Quiet Hours World ("we," "us") publishes guided sleep, meditation and history-for-sleep audio to YouTube, Spotify, and podcast directories. This page explains what information we collect from visitors to this website and from listeners of our content, and how it's used.

What we collect

This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party advertising pixels. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information from visitors browsing this site.

If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence only for as long as needed to respond to you.

YouTube and podcast platforms

When you watch or listen on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or any other platform, that platform's own privacy policy governs the data it collects — we do not receive your name, email, or listening history from them beyond aggregate, anonymised statistics (such as total views or listens) that the platform itself provides to every creator.

YouTube API Services

Our private publishing tool uses YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on our own YouTube channels and to read statistics about our own content. By using it we agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

The tool is used only by the channel owner. Through YouTube API Services it accesses:

We store our own video IDs and publishing schedule for as long as the channel exists. We delete statistics, analytics reports and any other YouTube data after 30 days, or refresh it within 30 days. We do not sell, share or publish YouTube data.

We use an AI assistant (Anthropic) to help prepare our internal reports; it processes our own channel statistics on our behalf.

You can revoke the tool's access to a Google account at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. To ask us to delete data we hold about you, email [email protected]. We will delete it within 7 days. Deleting data we hold does not affect data stored by YouTube.

Comments

If you comment on one of our videos or episodes, that comment is public and governed by the hosting platform's own policy, not ours.

Children's privacy

Our content is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
